Double gauze is made from two  fine layers  of cotton cheesecloth that are invisibly stitched together. The weave of each layer tends to be quite loose, so that combined with the double layer of fabric it creates a  fabric that has a lovely organic textured look


Weight: light weight with a natural textured finish


Uses: Suitable for dresses , tops, skirts , and floaty pants

All of our trims and fabrics have been sourced from local designers as dead stock.

Designer dead stock come to us without fibre content and weight information. We give our best educated guess on both.

By salvaging these fabrics and trims from designer cutting room floors that would previously gone to landfill, our aim is to further promote sustainable sewing.
